Get ready for the 2025 grand finale of Fight Night: Beer vs Wine, a one-of-a-kind degustation event on North Stradbroke Island that celebrates flavour, craftsmanship, and friendly rivalry between beer and wine.

This final event for 2025 takes the experience to new heights. Your journey begins at St Stradbroke, where sommelier and owner Andy Morrison welcomes you into his island home for a private tasting. Then, step across the lane to Straddie Brewing Co for a behind-the-tanks brewery tour and tank tasting, sampling the freshest beer straight from the source.

From there, the evening continues on our rooftop with a four-course degustation menu curated by acclaimed chef Gordon MacGregor (Wellington Point Farmhouse), showcasing the finest seasonal produce from the Redlands Coast region.

Each course is paired with two drinks — one beer, one wine — and you decide which pairing reigns supreme.

Head Brewer Andrew Sydes and Winemaker Andy Morrison will each pitch their perfect match before every course, and after tasting, the crowd votes for the winner.

The evening concludes at 8:30pm so guests can comfortably make their way to the last ferry* back to the mainland.
